The AquaTrace project took samples from wild and farmed fish of the three target species covering a large part of their native distribution range to develop genomic markers to genotype the sampled individuals for characterising the wild and farmed populations and to detect signs of introgression.
The content of the sampling database can be displayed through the Sampling Statistical viewer.
Here you can browse among graphs, charts and a map application to visualize the AquaTrace sampling effort. Use the drop down and the selection list to select by locations, years, species and environment. Alternatively you can click - once to select, click again to deselect - on the graphical elements of the histograms and bar charts to filter the data, in which case the map will be automatically updated. Please note that the aquaculture locations are only indicated approximately. Press the SHIFT key and hold the mouse to pan the map.
